Over the course of six issues, we’ll dip into the Luong family’s personal archives, tasting teas that Peter’s parents have stored away in the early days of their traditional Chinatown apothecary, those from his travels over 20 years in the field, and treasures we’ve unearthed in caves, closest, and back rooms of tea makers in China and Taiwan. We’ll discuss history, tradition, cultivar and craftsmanship, and their role in the ongoing story of a living tea.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUsing the same methods and process that Peter has relied on in the field for nearly two decades, we’ll cup each shipment of teas together, take notes, and share feedback in regular guided group tastings online.
